Marmolada (Punta Rocca) - Vinatzer route (6/A1 or 6+)

This is one of the most beautiful and hardest classic route of the Dolomites. Being climbed for the first time in the september 1936 by Vinatzer and Castiglioni, it represents a perfect example of the climbing genius that Vinatzer used to be. He was indeed able to climb free already at that time on difficulties now rated 6+.
Giulio and I decided to test the party before going to the South face of the Marmolada. We headed for the Messner route at the Second Sella Tower, a route pretty short but also very nice and sustained
